After spending about a decade working as a marine ecosystem specialist with NOAA, I felt ready for a new chapter—one that would bring me closer to the land, animals, and the simple joys of everyday life.
Having a little farm where animals could live happy, healthy lives had always been my dream. In 2025, my husband and I moved from Oʻahu to Hawaiian Acres on Hawaiʻi Island to make that dream a reality.
Today, Manoa Farm is our little piece of paradise, surrounded by tropical greenery, wild orchids, gingers, and ferns. Our growing farm family includes pigs, goats, chickens, and our beloved dog. Every day brings something new to learn, something to care for, and another reason to appreciate this life.
We're building Manoa Farm one step at a time, guided by a simple belief: a good life is one where people, animals, and nature can thrive together.
